Abdullah Gül-Ali Babacan ikilisi ile Ahmet Davutoğlu’nun yeni parti hazırlıkları içinde olması AKP’deki kopuşları hızlandırdı. AKP’nin üye sayısı son bir yılda yaklaşık 800 bin kişi azaldı.
2018 Ağustos ayında 6. Olağan Kongresi sürecinde AKP’de güncellenen üye sayısı 10 milyon 719 bin 234 olarak açıklanmıştı. Yargıtay Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı’nın sitesinde yer alan Temmuz 2019 tarihli son verilerde ise AKP’nin üye sayısı 9 milyon 931 bin 103 olarak belirtildi.
Bu rakamlara göre, Ağustos 2018 ile Temmuz 2019 arasından AKP üyesi kişi sayısı 788 bin 131 azalmış durumda.
AKP’deki erimenin yeni parti hazırlıkları kadar, kuruluş felsefesinden tamamen ayrılması ve ‘tek adam’ partisine dönüşmesinin de etkili olduğu belirtiliyor.
