Avrupa İnsan Hakları Mahkemesi (AİHM) yargıçlığına seçilen Saadet Yüksel yemin ederek görevine başladı. Yüksel için AİHM’de düzenlenen yemin törenine sürpriz biçimde Anayasa Mahkemesi, Yargıtay ve Danıştay başkanları da katıldı. Yemin törenini basına kapatan AİHM, törenle ilgili görsel paylaşımda bulunmayı da reddetti.
DW Türkçe’nin haberine göre, Saadet Yüksel için Avrupa İnsan Hakları Mahkemesi’nin (AİHM) Strasbourg’daki merkezinde düzenlenen yemin törenine, mahkemenin Yunan başkanı Linos-Alexandre Siclianos ve çok sayıda AİHM yargıcı katıldı. Sicilianos törende yaptığı konuşmada Yüksel’e başarılar diledi.
Yüksek yargı Strasbourg’a taşındı
Yemin töreninde Anayasa Mahkemesi Başkanı Zühtü Arslan, Yargıtay Başkanı İsmail Rüştü Cirit ve Danıştay Başkanı Zerrin Güngör de yer aldı. Türkiye’nin en üst yargı organlarının zirvesindeki isimlerin yemin törenine katılması Strasbourg’da herkesi şaşırttı. Bu üçlünün yemin törenine katılacağı bilgisi tören öncesi ve sonrasında AİHM tarafından basınla paylaşılmadı. Yemin törenini açıklama göstermeksizin basına kapatan AİHM, törenle ilgili görsel paylaşımda bulunmayı da reddetti.
AİHM’de yargıçlar göreve başlamadan yapılan yemin törenleri genelde sade ve üst düzey katılım olmaksızın gerçekleşiyor. Ankara’nın yeni Türk yargıcın yemin töreni için en üst düzey yargı yöneticilerini Strasbourg’a göndermiş olması “AİHM’ye verilen önem” olarak yorumlanıyor.
Türkiye 4’üncü sırada
Saadet Yüksel, Türk yargıç olarak, bundan böyle AİHM gündemine Türkiye’den gelen tüm davalara otomatik olarak katılacak. Türkiye şu anda Rusya, Romanya ve Ukrayna’nın ardından AİHM gündeminde hakkında en fazla şikayet olan ülke konumunda. AİHM gündemindeki 58 bin 500 dava başvurusundan 7 bin 850’sini Ankara’ya karşı şikayetler oluşturuyor.
